All our products are labelled with the correct hazard identification labels in compliance with European Directives, and it is the user’s responsibility to read the instructions before attempting to use the products.

In case of accident, you should follow the first aid instructions carefully, and, if instructed, or if in any doubt, or if irritation persists, seek medical attention (showing the product label if possible). Information is given for a reason, so please follow it carefully. Labelling regulations are now very stringent and are designed to protect the consumer.


Simple Rules for Safe Storage and Use of Swimming Pool Chemicals

* Keep all chemicals away from children and pets
* Follow the instructions on the container and the health and safety data sheet enclosed with your order
* Keep products in their original containers with the lid tightly closed
* Store in a cool dry place, off the floor, away from all flammable products.
* Do not store different chemical products on top of one another.
* Never mix chemicals together as explosions or fire can occur.
* Avoid contact with skin, eyes, nose or mouth – chemical gloves should be worn.
* In case of accident follow the first aid instructions given on the label or in the health and safety data sheet enclosed with each product. If in any doubt, seek medical attention.
* Avoid inhaling fumes or dust.
* Do not smoke when using chemicals.
* Always add the product to water, not water to the product.
* Ensure no one is in the pool when treating the water.
* Regularly test the water with a reliable test kit, and replace test kits annually.
* Wash hand after handling chemicals.
