pH Reducer Powder (Dry Acid)

It is important to maintain your swimming pool at the right pH. This is achieved through the addition of swimming pool chemicals. If the pH level in your swimming pool is too high, you may experience eye and skin irritation. The water may also start to damage the surface of your swimming pool and any equipment you may be using.

The addition of pH minus powder / pH reducer powder to your pool will reduce the pH to the ideal range of 7.2 - 7.6.

How To Use pH Minus Powder / pH Reducer Powder

The safe pH range should be between 7.2 and 7.6. If the pH is above this then pH minus powder / pH reducer powder must be added to reduce the pH.

To reduce the pH by 0.1, add 100g of pH Minus powder / pH reducer powder per 10 m3 of water. Add the pH minus powder / pH reducer powder directly to the pool and mix thoroughly. You should not be able to see any of the pH minus powder / pH reducer powder in the pool when you have finished.

Alternatively, pre-dissolve the correct amount of pH minus powder / pH reducer powder in a bucket of water and then add the water to the swimming pool.
