Chemiphos Phosphate Remover

The principle behind our phosphate remover, Chemiphos, is that if you remove the phosphates - you eliminate the algae. Chemiphos is a phosphate removal formulation which will reduce the phosphate levels in your swimming pool to almost zero. This phosphate eliminator is based on natural technology and is only available in the UK through Chemipool.

Chemiphos phosphate remover does not kill algae - it removes the food that algae need to grow. It is safe and compatible with chlorines and other chemicals and the application process is simple and low cost.

Chemiphos creates a chemical balance that is natural and environmentally safe by reducing or removing phosphates from the pool water. The result is crystal clear, algae free water. The phosphate removal solution also helps to eliminate scum lines and extend the life of the pool filter. Chemiphos is quick and easy to use. It ships ready to use and is added directly to your pool as per the instructions below. It helps to provide clear, odour free water which is algae free. It is an environmentally friendly natural treatment which does not affect the acidity of the water therefore helping to keep your swimming pool irritation free.

How to Use Chemiphos

First application:

1) If your swimming pool, water fountain or pond has algae, first treat with a Chemipool algaecide to kill the algae.
2) After treating the algae, determine the phosphate level of your swimming pool, water fountain or pond by testing with phosphate level test kit.
3) Determine required Chemiphos Remove dosage.
Phosphate level less than 250ppb, add 1L Chemiphos Remove per 50m³ water or part thereof.
Phosphate level 250ppb - 400ppb, add 1.5L Chemiphos per 50m³ water or part thereof.
Phosphate level 400ppb - 600ppb, add 2L Chemiphos per 50m³ water or part thereof.
Phosphate level 600ppb - 1000ppb, add 3L Chemiphos per 50m³ water or part thereof.
Phosphate level greater than 1000ppb, add 3L Chemiphos per 50m³ water or part thereof. Allow filter to circulate for 48hrs on continuous or 1 week in normal mode, check again and dose accordingly.
4) With filter running, invert and shake Chemiphos and add required dosage to skimmer.
5) Run filter in normal mode for one week, or continuously for 48 hours, then begin weekly regular maintenance with Chemiphos.

Regular Monthly Maintenance

1) Ensure that the water is in proper chemical balance.
2) Thoroughly clean or backwash filter.
3) With the filter running, invert and shake Chemiphos then add 1L of product per 50m³ of water directly into the skimmer.
4) Phosphate levels vary throughout the year. Phosphate levels should be tested every month to ensure that the level remains below 250ppb.
