Pooloxy Active Oxygen Chlorine Free Treatment for Pools & Spas

Pooloxy is the name of the Active Oxygen treatment offered by Chemipool. Our powerful active oxygen formula acts against both algae and bacteria. Used regularly and correctly, it is all you need to treat you pool. It is especially useful for above ground pools, spa baths or larger pools where a low maintenance, chlorine free solution is required.

The Pooloxy Active Oxygen treatment consists of a powder and a liquid. Both must be used together for the treatment to work, the liquid working in synergy with, and activating the Pooloxy powder. The Active Algaecide formulation not only works with the powder to keep your pool in good shape but also has additional components to help make a contribution towards anti-foaming and water clarifying. The formulation is added straight to the water so no dosing system is required. It is usually possible to just dose once a week to keep the pool in order.

If you have an above ground pool and only use it for short time over the summer then the Pooloxy Active Oxygen kit will be all you need. If you will use your pool for longer than this without refilling it then you may need some Pooloxy Test strips and some pH plus and pH minus to adjust the pH of the water.

The Pooloxy Active Oxygen kits are fully compatible with other chlorine or bromine sanitising agents so if you have already treated you pool with one of these then changing over to Pooloxy will not be a problem.

Pooloxy will not bleach vinyl which makes then ideal for use in inflatable above ground pools. Three pack sizes are available:

Pooloxy 1 for pools up to 10 cubic meters in volume - contains 0.5kg powder and 0.5L liquid.
Pooloxy 2 for pools between 10 and 20 cubic meters in volume - contains 1kg powder and 1L liquid.
Pooloxy 3 for pools of 30 cubic meters and more - contains 3kg powder and 3L liquid.

If you only have a small pool but you buy a larger pack size the contents are the same but in larger quantities so it will last you longer.

How To Use The Pooloxy Active Oxygen Complete Pool Kits

Add Pooloxy Active Oxygen Powder and Pooloxy Active Algaecide in equal amounts at the rate of 10g/ml per 1000L of pool or spa water once a week. Add directly to the water and mix thoroughly. We suggest adding the chemicals last thing in the evening once you have finished using you pool or spa. The chemicals then have all night to disperse in the water. You should always measure the pH of you pool or spa before use using our Pooloxy Test Strips to ensure you water is safe to bath in.
